Lakes:
Some of our customers prefer to fish for smallmouth bass
and other species that are available in our area. Still others
prefer to use light spinning and casting tackle as opposed
to fly rods. For this reason, we have several other types of
trips that you may be interested in.
There are several lakes near our location that have
excellent fishing for a variety of species. Largemouth bass,
smallmouth bass, bream and other species are plentiful as
well as trout that are regularly stocked. We have an
aluminum boat that is equipped for this type of fishing. Also,
keep in mind that we guide customers that enjoy fly-fishing
these lakes as well as those that prefer casting and
spinning tackle. These trout are usually a good size fish
and catching them on a fly rod is a challenge and a thrill.
Smallmouth Streams:
Within our immediate area there are a number of excellent
streams that do not receive near the attention they deserve
for their excellent smallmouth bass fishing. Little River and
Little Pigeon River are two of the streams. In addition there
are several other highly renowned smallmouth bass
streams. The Pigeon River is an example of an
exceptionally good smallmouth stream that is only a short
drive away. We usually float these streams in our driftboat
and permit customers to use fly rods or conventional tackle
depending on their personal preference.
